Language is part of computing culture.

Kwechiri asks what becomes possible when an African language is considered at the language-design layer—not only translated into an interface after the technology has already been defined.

The project is an exploration of indigenous-language computing, accessible developer experience and the relationship between technical systems and cultural identity.

Specific syntax, runtime behaviour and toolchain guarantees will be documented only as the implementation becomes publicly verifiable.

The language is the first layer.

The longer-term vision is a broader computing ecosystem, including a future Kwechiri Browser. This roadmap describes direction, not released products or dates.
